Ultrasonic Flow Meters

Working Principle :  Addmas Offer Ultrasonic flowmeters which are working on principle of sound waves to determine the velocity of a fluid flowing in a pipe. At no flow conditions, the frequencies of an ultrasonic wave transmitted into a pipe and its reflections from the fluid are the same.. When the fluid moves faster, the frequency shift increases linearly.
This meter is based on transit time measurement principle. Typical transit-time flow measurement system utilizes two transducers (A & B)  that function as both ultrasonic transmitter & receiver. The transducers are clamped on the outside of a closed pipe at specific distance from each other size pipe. The two transducers are on the same side, thus the sound transverses the flow twice. W- method is usually used for small pipe . The sound transverses across the flow four times.
